London, Atlanta, 16th April 2026 – Tulix, a global video delivery company, and Open Broadcast Systems, the leader in software-based professional video transport, today announced a partnership to offer StreamGate, an SRT video distribution service designed to streamline operations for broadcasters and streaming providers. This uses Tulix’s managed service and Open Broadcast Systems’ low-latency encoders and decoders for the real-time distribution of high-quality SRT streams to multiple affiliates.
Broadcasters and streaming providers often struggle to manage multiple ingest streams at scale. Tulix’s StreamGate eliminates the need for multiple parallel streams by allowing ingest of a single high-quality SRT stream from Open Broadcast System encoders. This stream is then fanned out in real time to multiple destinations, significantly enhancing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Deployed on Tulix’s carrier-dense infrastructure in Atlanta, the StreamGate platform offers direct connectivity to multiple Tier-1 networks, enabling low-latency delivery and high throughput. Affiliates then use Open Broadcast Systems decoders to decode the SRT streams back to SDI.
Kieran Kunhya, CEO of Open Broadcast Systems, commented: “Broadcasters and streaming providers face considerable complexity in their distribution workflows, especially as they scale to multiple affiliates. We’re excited to simplify the process through our partnership with Tulix, providing the efficiency, control and reliability they need to operate at scale.”
Nino Doijashvili, CCO, Tulix, added: “The encoders and decoders provided by Open Broadcast Systems perfectly complement our StreamGate platform: high-quality, low-latency, reliable, and available in small form factors. Together, we are making it incredibly simple for broadcasters and streaming providers to distribute video in a stable and scalable environment.”
The StreamGate platform also provides continuous monitoring of stream integrity with full operational visibility, ensuring stable and reliable service.
Open Broadcast Systems and Tulix will be exhibiting at NAB Show in Las Vegas from 19th-22nd April, in the West Hall.
