London, UK, 4th May 2018

Open Broadcast Systems will be demonstrating its latest encoding and decoding solutions for IP contribution at BroadcastAsia from the 26th to the 28th June 2018.

Open Broadcast Systems will demonstrate the highest density Integrated Receiver Decoder (IRD) currently on the market. This has the potential to replace half a rack of equipment with a single server, as well as enable 16 channels to be decoded on an 1U chassis at once.

It has the capability of delivering vast amounts of video content, which is something that we are seeing in the industry. IP is for the future, and we are helping to drive it there.”

Kieran Kunhya will be speaking at Broadcast Asia in the Innovation Hub on Tuesday, 26th June 2018, from 12:00pm-12:20pm, discussing: ‘2018 – The Year of IP Video for Contribution and in the Studio’.
